Enterprise software giant Salesforce has announced a definitive agreement to acquire customer engagement specialist Braze for $5.66 billion in cash. Under the terms of the transaction, Braze shareholders will receive $47.50 per share, driving a 51% rally in the company's stock price. The acquisition integrates Braze's real-time cross-channel marketing and mobile messaging engine directly into Salesforce's AI-driven CRM and Data Cloud suite. Management expects the transaction to close in fiscal 2028 pending customary regulatory approvals.
